‘The Client’ refers to the customer booking any catering services with Zouki Catering 

‘We, ours, us, etc.’ means Zouki Catering

‘You, yours, etc.’ means The Client

These Terms and Conditions can be amended by us as necessary and it is the client’s responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions each time you access our website. By continuing to use and access our website you agree to be bound by the amended Terms and Conditions.

Prices

All prices quoted are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change based on economic conditions.

Deliveries

Free delivery offered in hospital premises (i.e. for the individual site specific orders mentioned in the definition).

Delivery is available between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday to external locations (i.e. not within the premises of the individual site-specific orders mentioned in the definition). Any delivery that falls outside normal delivery times or during public holidays will attract a delivery fee of $50. Delivery fees to locations beyond 30 kilometres radius from the Zouki catering kitchen of the individual site are discretionary. When a preferred delivery time is unavailable Zouki Catering will ensure the delivery is made prior to the agreed time.

Please ensure delivery location is accessible and attended by a person above 18 years of age to accept delivery. If a mobile phone number is provided for contact, please ensure that mobile phone is switched on. If access is not available at agreed time and if it need to be re-delivered, there will be an additional delivery fee or the delivery may be cancelled at the discretion of Zouki Catering. In such instance, the payment of the invoice will still be required.

Staff Costs

Zouki Catering event staff are available for booking for a minimum of four hours, as per industry standard. Current rates are available for viewing HERE. Public holiday rates apply to respective dates; these will be quoted upon enquiry. Bookings including staff must be confirmed 3 days prior to the date of the event.

 

Equipment

Zouki Catering can arrange any extra equipment you require for your event. Hire of equipment included is itemised in the quote, and includes a delivery and pick up charge. Any damage to or loss of hire equipment caused by the client, client’s guests, venues or venues employees will be charged to the client and invoiced after the event.

Standard cutlery or standard crockery and glasses will incur a charge of $4 per item. Lost Display/Platters will incur a charge of $40 per item.

Deposit and Payments

Payment is required prior to or upon delivery, unless authorized in advance. We only accept payment by credit cards - Mastercard, and Visa. Payments can be deferred until delivery if authorized in advance.

All quotes are subject to availability at the time of booking and a 50% deposit is required to secure the event date. No event is considered confirmed until deposit has been received. The balance will be invoiced upon confirmation of order quantity, 3 working days prior to the event and full payment is required prior to the event date, unless alternative arrangements have been made previously. Any additional charges will be invoiced after the event.

Order Placement & Confirmation of Details

Menus, final order quantities and dietary requirements are to be confirmed 2 days prior to the event. Once confirmed no changes are accepted after this date. Please refer to the Order Amendments session next for changes after confirmation.

Booking Rooms – please enquire about each individual outlet you are planning to book to obtain an understanding of specific requirements, if any.

Order Amendments

We always endeavour to accommodate changes to suit clients’ requirements. Catering orders already submitted and confirmed online cannot be modified. This can be executed through the specific sites catering staff. Minor catering changes must be received by 3pm the day prior to the event.

Dietary Requirements

Zouki Catering staff and suppliers prepare food in accordance with the Food safety Standards set by Food Standards Australia and are fully Food Safe Accredited.

While placing your order, please mention all or any dietary requirements in the comments or instruction section.

The Zouki Catering kitchen and equipment used within may contain traces of nuts, egg, dairy, gluten and other known allergens. Although all care is taken by Zouki Catering to ensure these items are confined, we cannot guarantee that all dietary requirements will be met. We understand the serious implications on reactions to allergens and will endeavour not to cross contaminate your food, Zouki Catering will not accept responsibility or liability for any adverse reaction to our food by any guest. It is solely your responsibility to inform your guests on food allergies.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation charges will apply when costs have been incurred for food, labour or other services. Any refunds has to be authorized by the catering representative at the individual sites and will be based on specific circumstances.

Staffed events that are cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the event for any reason, including weather or any other circumstances will incur a fee of 100% of the final invoice. Delivery only bookings that are cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur up to 100% fee, depending on the notice given.

Quality Control

Zouki Catering does not part cater any event, including the serving of cakes, desserts, BYO food of any nature without prior consent. This practice contravenes our Food Safety program. Please mention to your Zouki Catering booking representative during the initial quote stages that if you plan to supply any foods from home or relatives or registered food business. Images on our website and marketing material are styled for presentation purposes, and may not be indicative of the presentation of particular items ordered by the Client. Menus are subject to change according to seasonal and supplier availability. We do endeavour to alert clients on any changes, however, this is not always possible and in some instances some products may be substituted for similar quality ingredients.

Responsible Service of Alcohol

In accordance with the Liquor Licensing Act, Zouki Catering staff reserve the right to refuse to serve alcohol to guests under the age of 18 and guests who are intoxicated.

If a Temporary Liquor Licence application is required, fees will be directly charged to the Client whether the application is successful or not.

In certain situations including events held in public areas such as Parks and Gardens council regulations will require the alcohol service area to be fenced off from the general public. In this instance the cost of said fencing will be charged directly to the client, including the delivery and set up charges associated with it.
